The Yellow-Throated Euphonia is a songbird found in southeastern Mexico and throughout Central America. It's range stretches from Belize to western Panama. The male has a rich yellow throat and dark glossy blue-black upper parts. It feeds primarly on mistletoe berries, which it swallows whole. It also feeds on figs & ripe bananas.
