Eternity's Braids KAL

Eternity's Braids KNIT-A-LONG!

I am teaming up with the Traveling Yarn Yogi to launch a SUMMER FUN KAL! Clear out those cobwebs, sharpen those needles and come get your CRAFT ON!

Eternity’s Braids Poncho launched June 29, 2024! I ADORE a good poncho. They’re perfect for every body type, even for us curvier folks. I wrote Eternity’s Braids two years ago, and the sample has been touring with me since! I have had so many customer requests for this pattern that I had to do it.

Eternity’s Braids features the Celtic braid - one of my favorite cable patterns - which signifies eternity and everlasting goodness.

This garment is the PERFECT summer KAL because it begins with a cable cast on, has 5 rows of moss-stitch edging and then the body of the garment begins. You will have miles of relaxing knitting and purling with 32 stitches of cabling to keep things interesting.

There are so many things to celebrate with this KAL! I HAVE FINALLY found a tech editor and am in the process of finalizing this highly requested pattern. I have my first wholesale account - The Traveling Yarn Yogi, which is celebrating FIVE YEARS of being in operation! Yep, Angie opened Purl’s doors in September 2019. This KAL is also the warm up to Purl’s (the bus) birthday party!

Here’s how to participate. Purchase the amount of yarn needed for this project (see pattern details below) directly from Robin’s Promise Yarn Co. or from the Traveling Yarn Yogi. Yarn that is available will be sent the next business day. Yarn that is Dyed-to-Order can take as long as 4 weeks to receive. Everyone who makes a poncho’s quantity new purchase of Two Sparrows DK, Eiderdown DK or Raptor Worsted will receive a FREE Ravelry pattern download code through Aug. 17. (If you do not use Ravelry, please let us know and a pattern pdf will be sent to your email.) If you order from Robin’s Promise Yarn Co., your pattern code will come from me. If you order from The Traveling Yarn Yogi, your pattern code will come from her.
