Casapinka is at it again. She is redesigning her Botanique Shawl and is re-releasing it on Feb. 19.
Botanique’s sections are inspired by something related to spring, from blooming trees, to spring rain. There are also dot stitches, lace, flowers, butterflies, thistle, lettuce and catnip, and tea. You will have so much fun with this! There are 15 sections plus borders on either end.
Please note that Botanique is an intermediate shawl pattern. It is a bit more complex than most of Casapinka’s patterns and requires some special stitches. This hoss of a shawl finished out at 92” long by 16” wide (29” wide on the diagonal). You can easily shorten the charts if you want a shorter shawl and half the two honeycomb sections. (The pattern calls for a US size 4 knitting needle.)
Emma’s Yarn, which Casapinka’s Botanique was originally knit in, is supporting LYSs by offering a drop-ship program for you to purchase. Choose your base, you colorway and you are charged a flat rate of $9 shipping. These kits will come straight to your house and will by-pass us completely! Kits are available on our website for one week beginning TODAY through January 28. This ensures you will receive your drop-ship kit prior to the pattern release.
There are six color ways offered in a variety of bases. Choose your colorway and then your base.
