We saw Melanie Berg's Cloudbreak Shawl and just hit our heads falling in love with it. The message behind the shawl in a time when we all needed a rainbow - and what better sentiment can anyone have than to wrap yourself up in all the colors?
From Melanie: A rainbow is a sign that the storm has passed and brighter days are here, and when you wrap yourself up in Cloudbreak, the subtle rainbow motif will be a reminder of just how powerful hope, joy, and love can be.
So, we asked one of our sample knitters to take it on, and she did it gladly. We now have a sample, which you can find at The Flying Needles, made out of two skeins of Mockingbird Feather and one complete Rainbow 10-mini-skein set.
We knew this was a perfect addition to our kits. So we have them beautifully packaged in organza bags - all the yarn necessary for the shawl. All you need is the pattern & needles. (There is enough yardage left from the mini skein set to make another if you purchase two additional Main Color skeins in Songbird.)
