Tasha’s Own is a family-owned and woman-led venture of love and commitment to reviving the lost arts located locally to Williamsburg, Va. She uses the milk from her own goats to produce these lovely soaps, and the wraps are repurposed fabrics.
Tasha's Own began with one goat, Tasha, purchased to provide alternative dairy products for a lactose-intolerant child. One goat quickly led to another, and soon there was an abundance of milk beyond a cheese and yogurt need. With that abundance of goat milk, a natural soap was born.
When my kids were on swim team, the Tasha's Own soaps were the only soaps that would pull the chlorine scent from my children's skin. My entire family still uses this soap, including my canine family member. They can't get enough of it, and are usually gifted bars for Christmas.
If you have allergies, I recommend the Simplicity Soap - their all-natural plain goat's milk soap...completely unscented with only four ingredients.
