2024 Subscription Collection - Butterflies & Moths

Welcome to 2024’s Robin’s Promise Yarn Co. Subscription! This year’s theme is “Butterflies and Moths.”

One of my earliest memories of one of my grandmothers was her lapel pins. She had these beautiful butterfly pins in all colors. It’s the first memory that I have of looking deeply at something and looking at all its color. She had this one beautiful blue pin with tiny rainbow colored dots. When I began dyeing, I started collecting butterfly and moth images. I’ve been saving those images for four years now. My photo collection now is over 170 strong - all of these beautiful and color varied creatures. 

This is the year of the butterfly - creatures that are thought to represent change, transformation, comfort, hope and positivity - not necessarily in that order. Their stages of development represent life change as well - from the cocoon of reflection to the progression of a colorful creature taking flight on the wind. 

I will release yarn colors once a month that will not be released to the public. Each month will also have a complementary color. This year, I am adding Eiderdown Fingering and Eiderdown DK as options.  

Each month, your subscription will come with a gift and suggested patterns for the yarn you have chosen. All suggested patterns will be via Ravelry. The pattern will NOT be included, but you are welcome to head over to Ravelry and check out our suggestions (did you know Ravelry now has more than 1 million patterns?).

This year, the set-up of the subscription is a bit different. I have set up a new shipping system that requires information on the back end to successfully ship to you.

ESTIMATED Ship Dates for 2024 Subscriptions
I like to try to give you an estimated time of shipping, however, these are ESTIMATES. I have several shows that I have not heard back from as to whether I am accepted. This schedule could change as shows get added.

Once your subscription has shipped, I will provide tracking. As we all have learned, life sometimes happens, which is why I am stressing that these dates are estimates. If you are purchasing any of the 2024 Subscription items and want them shipped outside of the contiguous US, then I will send you an invoice over the our standard shipping amount.

March: 3/29; MUST ORDER BY MARCH 25.

Subscription FAQ

Will my yarn look like the picture that is beside the order?
The subscription is intended to be a mystery yarn every month. The pictures used are PLACEHOLDERS ONLY. I will release each month’s photo inspiration prior to finalizing each month’s order.

Do I have to order all months of the subscription?
You can order as much or as little of the subscription as you want. You can even change bases if you want to try them all.
