Meet the Show Color of DFW Fiber Fest 2025 - Caribbean in the Storm.
I wanted to do something a little different this year with all of my show colors. This year, they will all be a cohesive body of work and will be made to go together. The theme for all the show colors this year is STORMS!
In my mind's eye, I see a dark and wild sky with all those caribbean turquoises flying about. Just like that picture in my head, Caribbean in the Storm is a moody gray with highs and lows overlaid with a beautiful patina of turquoise speckles - dark turquoise, light turquoise, and all those palm trees. Add to that a middle layer of with flecks representing the detritus flying about in the storms with the petals.
