Geri Kuster's Eternity's Braids.

Yarn: Robin’s Promise Two Sparrows DK, 6 skeins
Color: African Firefinch Feather
Pattern: Eternity’s Braids by Susan Dickerson
Why I loved it: I have always wanted a red outer garment, and when I first purchased my original two skeins of African Firefinch Feather, I knew I wanted to save this special color for a truly special project. Soon afterward, Susan published Eternity Braids.
Shortly after the new year, I cast on my first stitches feeling a bit overwhelmed by my first cabling project. 2025 became a tumultuous year for my family, but I methodically worked my 22 repetitions of the 24 row repeat despite several large breaks from knitting. The bright red inspired by this tiny feathered songstress kept me knitting despite my setbacks.
Eventually, I completed my beautiful red poncho just in time to visit my 92-year-old mother for Christmas. I love the versatility of the poncho and have received many compliments from family and friends.

Joe-Mike Burrough's Advent Socks 2020, by Natalie Sheldon
I discovered Robin’s Promise Yarn Co. during a time when the world was full for fear and uncertainty. It was a time when every person needed a hug but was afraid to give or receive one. The gift of Robin’s Promise Yarn was stumbled upon on a whim. The colors of the yarn in its carefully curated collections, like a gift, are one to bestow. Even more exciting, once the skeins are unfurled and wound, to discover the magic within their fibers can be breathtaking.
One of my first projects with Robin’s Promise Yarn and one of my many favorites is the Advent Socks 2020, by: Natalie Sheldon. I used the 2020 Advent Calendar in the Songbird weight for the color work details and Into the Inky Night in the Songbird weight for the background. I love this yarn first for the vibrant colors, which are indescribable in hue and cohesiveness. The yarn is buttery soft, but hard wearing. Easy care is also a bonus. As for the project, the stitch definition and color range of the Advent Calendar made a beautiful and effortless project. This was one of my first color work projects and will always remain a favorite.
I have used Robin’s Promise Yarns in many projects from socks to shawls to a current sweater project, utilizing most of the yarn weights and bases offered. Robin’s Promise Yarn is always delightful to knit with, soft to the touch, and stunning in its color-ways. It does not disappoint.
Sandy Savino's Swallowtail Sweater by Jamie Hoffman
Robin's Promise (and booth at yarn festivals) is always a great source for project inspiration. I saw Swallowtail (pictured at right) in the background of a Robin's Promise promotional photo and had to make it. Susan is ALWAYS very responsive and helpful. I made Swallowtail using Songbird Fingering in Mockingbird Breast, Tulipa, Pheasant Ring and Black Ice. The yarn was wonderful to work with and perfect for colorwork. The yarn had a nice feel while working with it and it slid easily from needle to needle (Chiao Goo Lace interchangeable). Thank you, Robin's Promise, for helping me create fun to knit, easy to wear, easy to care for projects!
Samantha Hopkins' Mini Mock Neck Tank by Jessie Maed Designs

I was knitting for only a few months, and I went (to the show) hoping to find the perfect turquoise yarn for some socks for my now husband. I found your booth and fell in love with all the colors. I picked out Great Barrier Reef 🪸. I thought it’d be perfect as he is an avid fisherman. I brought it all the way with me to visit my friend in Alaska! I loved the colors and how it felt in my hands it was so easy to work with. And the colors were a joy to my eyes. I love that all the color names are bird related!! I worked the socks in Petty Harbour by Rayna Curtis. It was a simple textured sock pattern which I thought it’d be easy for me as a beginner.
I’ve since picked out a few more yarns my stash - that have projects lined up but I haven’t quite had a chance to get two - including two of the butterfly collection. As a bonus, I included a photo of the Mini Mock Neck Tank, I completed with the Eiderdown in Blue-Footed Booby Feet
