Kate & I met in New York 2023. One of my booth workers spotted Kate in the crowd. I then spotted Kate, who designed the Love Birds sweater, which I had knitted up and hanging in my booth. We snapped a picture in front of the Robin’s Promise version of Love Birds and began chatting. We hit it off and a collaboration was ignited!
We’ve been working behind the scenes since last year, and here we are this year with
one of my favorite bases in a colorwork sweater designed by Kate! MEET OFF THE GRID!
Kate knit the first sweater with the Eiderdown DK base, which if you've never tried it, is
luxury at its finest. This heavier weight, luscious and sumptuous MCN yarn is made up of 80% Superwash Merino, 10% Cashmere and 10% Nylon and has 231 yards/100g on each skein.
This listing is for:
1. The original colors used by Kate, Pheasant Ring and Pheasant Feathers, released at NY Sheep & Wool Rhinebeck, NY, 2024 festival OR
2. Susan's original colors, Nuthatch Crown and NY State of Fall, which we will be bringing a TON of to CAKEPalooza, Friday, Oct. 18.
