I wanted to do something a little different with all of my show colors. This year and last, they all are a cohesive body of work and are made to go together. The theme for all the show colors this year is STORMS!
In my mind's eye for DFW Fiber Fest, I see a dark and wild sky raging around today's urban cowboy. Just like that picture in my head, Urban Cowboy in the Storm is a moody gray with highs and lows overlaid with purples, browns, blues for those blue jeans and oranges from those campfires - all sprinkled with golds. Add to that a middle layer of flecks representing the detritus flying about in the storm.
