The Aeria Shawl... *swoon* This showstopper is UNVAULTED! We used Tulip Fever in our super popular sample, the Aeria Shawl. Everywhere we went with this sample, people stopped. A kit restocking will be coming soon, but if you cannot wait, head over and nab three skeins of Night Flight or Black Ice and two skeins of Tulip Fever all in Two Sparrows DK, so it knits up FAST!
There are two kit options, one with the main color Night Flight, which is what we did in our sample, and the other is Black Ice. Each kit contains a total of 5 skeins of Two Sparrows, which is 75% superwash merino and 25% nylon - three skeins of the main color and two skeins of Tulip Fever.
Aeria by Linnea Ornstein is a two-colored shawl knit sideways from tip to tip. The leaves are shaped with short-rows, and the entire shawl is knit in garter stitch. Be warned - this shawl is highly addictive!
While the pattern calls for sport weight, the sample knitter did get gauge with Two Sparrows DK.
